No date but 1874 on flyleaf, crown,hb, full green leather, marbled eps, aeg, xviii+620 pp., finely illus. and clean throughout bar child's pencil doodlings on prelims & pp.7, 9, 13, 21 [Often setoff off on opposite page} & doodle on last page of text at end], Incipient foxing on a leaf or two either end, & p 5/6 torn out. Despite faults still a nice full leather book, the fine leather case & all the rest of book.& it 100 engravings being unusually pristine for its age. Its faults mean that a £100 book is now offered at only £36. It was a presentation copy in Grahamstown, S Africa, ink inscription at front. Size: Crown. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 003369
