Über den Autor: Esther M. Williams was born in Bertie County North Carolina, but spent some formative years growing up in Currituck County North Carolina near the Outer Banks, and has been inspired by the ocean, beaches, and surrounding communities ever since that time. She is the eldest of six children who all reside in North Carolina, as does her eighty-nine year old mother. She moved to the historic town of Edenton, N. C. at thirteen years of age and finished her education between John A Holms High School and College of the Albemarle. She now resides with her husband in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, also known as the Harbor of Hospitality, located along the scenic Pasquotank River. She has three children and eleven grandchildren, who are her inspiration.
