Inhaltsangabe: "THE POISON OF THORNS: The Dragon's Back #1," by Robert Dennis Wilson, unfolds as an intriguing and action-packed Fantasy with bards, dragons, swords, and mysterious black-robed villains lurking in the shadows. All of this takes place on a mysterious isolated continent that appears to be the exact shape of an immense Dragon, floating on the unfathomable depths of an endless sea.

Ten long years after witnessing the mysterious murder of their parents, two brothers have just been freed from incarceration in a prison-like orphanage. Against their wills they are torn apart and launched into separate quests against conflicting and dangerous forces. Independently they struggle to learn the truth and to resolve the unanswered cries for vengeance that have long consumed their lives with the poisoned thorns of unresolved bitterness. Finding themselves pitted against a strange and hostile world, overwhelmed with many questions; it becomes their individual obsessions to find the hidden answers and rescue each other.

Why were they locked away in that out-of-the way orphanage for ten long years, when they had living kin who would gladly have claimed them? Who are the sinister black-robed "Dragonmen" and what is their hidden agenda. And why are these blackrobes so interested in the two teenaged brothers that they would mobilize all of their considerable resources to possess them?

Über den Autor: Robert Dennis (Bob) Wilson resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife, Joyce, and 2 very energetic, dapple long-haired dachshunds. They have 4 married children and 5 grandsons, scattered from coast to coast. Besides writing novels, Bob is a singer-songwriter and a scroll saw artist. He works full time telecommuting from home as a programmer/Report Designer for an international transportation corporation. Before meeting the love of his life, Bob actually received a BABE degree in college: that is, a "Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education" from Washington Bible College, Lanham, MD. He has worked in various support roles for churches, missions, and para-church organizations. Bob continues to have an active role in multiple local churches. The second volume in this trilogy, "MY BROTHER'S KEEPER: The Dragon's Back #2" is in also now available as either paperback or e-book. Bob is also working on a four volume Science Fiction "Earth - The Arena" series. The first book, "THE PLAYERS: Earth - the Arena # 1," has inter-dimensional visitors, psychic experimentation, the threat of inter-dimensional warfare, disappearing people, lots of action, and enough romance to keep it interesting. Science Opened a Doorway - Something Came Through! "The Players" is available in both e-book and paperback formats.
