Undated, but c. 1890s. A good burgundy coloured hardback with limp leather over boards and spine, and cloth with chagrin finish to rear. Covers are worn, scuffed and bumped, with losses and wear to extremities. A little give in the binding. Marbled endpapers. With frontispiece portrait with facsimile signature, followed by 4pp text, then the photographic plates. The photographic plates are actually very good throughout and present a lovely collection of Victorian photographic images. With some thumbing stains to edges, and occasional minor flaw. Text in English. Unnumbered pages, but we counted 4pp + 252pp of photographic plates. All appears complete. Weight: approximately 1.98kg unpacked.
