Prior to holding his current position, Dr. Halbesleben held faculty positions at the University of Alabama, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Missouri, and University of Oklahoma. He has published more than 95 peer-reviewed articles based on his research on stress, burnout, engagement, and work–family relationships.
