This French edition of Rimsky-Korsakov's classic Principles of Orchestration is signed on the inside title page: Virgil Thomson Paris 1922 The paper title page is detached from the book and the back cover has a slight fold at the top. The title page is frayed at the edges with a small tear in the lower left corner. There is water staining on the top of the front cover.The book itself is in good condition considering the quality of paper it was printed on. The musical examples, all by Rimsky- Korsakov, are engraved and very clear. There are no marking on the examples.
