1858. Quarto (37cm) [ii dedication] xvi 200 pp.; 216 pp.; 190 [i errata] [xix index] pp. Plus 123 plates, some in full color, and numerous black and white illustrations in the text. Contemporary half levant with marbled paper-covered boards. Gilt tooled spines with gilt stamp title. All three volumes have black and red printed full-title pages. Rough-cut edges. Small (2cm) closed tear to full-title of volume three at lower left of page. Some shelf wear to levant, including some mild fraying at corners and base of spines; a few scuffs to the levant in other places as well. Foxing to pages, and to some plates, per usual.
