Darryl W. Stephens holds a Ph.D. in Christian Ethics from Emory University and has taught Christian ethics and evangelism at Candler School of Theology. He is an ordained deacon and former Assistant General Secretary for Advocacy and Sexual Ethics for the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women in The United Methodist Church.

Patricia Beattie Jungis professor of Christian ethics and Oubri A. Poppele Professor of Health and Welfare Ministries at Saint Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Missouri. She has served for many years as coeditor of the Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics and has published widely in the area of sexual ethics.
