Volume in 8, legatura coeva in piena pergamena, titolo al tassello al dorso a quattro nervi, occhiello, frontespizio con impresa e motto dell'Accademia, al verso exlibris xilografico del conte faentino Giovan Battista Laderchi, dedicatoria al principe Leopoldo di Toscana protettore dell'Accademia, ampia prefazione dell'autore, gi accademico del Cimento oltre che della Crusca, vera istituzione nello studio della lingua italiana. 28 cc., 312 pp., 3 cc. d'indici ed errata, bianca finale. Magnifica prima edizione della prima parte (sola pubblicata) delle prose Fiorentine. La pubblicazione venne interrotta per la morte del Dati e solo nel 1716 un gruppo di Accademici della Crusca ne continuo' l'edizione in 17 volumi. Veramente bella e curata edizione di questa affascinante raccolta, di alcune fra le pi belle orazioni di grandi letterati accademici tra cui: Della Casa, Davanzati, Rondinelli, Malespini, Segni, Giraldi, Soldani, ecc., arricchita da bei capilettera e finalini ornati in xilografia. Le condizioni di conservazione sono perfette, la legatura deliziosa e curata, la carta di ottima qualit, bianca e frusciante, pieni margini, esente da difetti. Gradevolissima la lettura.
