When rainy days keep you inside, big feelings can come rushing in.

Caidon is stuck at home on a gray, rainy day—and for a child with low vision, the world can feel extra uncertain when the light changes and shadows look different. With nothing to do and nowhere to go, boredom turns into worry, and imagination starts to run wild.

But with a loving mother by his side, Caidon learns that new experiences don’t have to be scary when you face them together. Step by step, reassurance replaces fear, and curiosity opens the door to an unexpected adventure.

Puddle Hunting is a heartfelt story about low-vision awareness, family connection, and finding joy in the moments that don’t go as planned.

How will Caidon and his mom turn a rainy day at home into one they’ll never forget?

Perfect for families, classrooms, and anyone raising thoughtful, imaginative children who experience the world in their own way.
