Inhaltsangabe: Puny and Don is the story of a piglet that can?t stand mud. The other animals in the farmyard make fun of him, and he is very lonely. But then one day he meets Don, a little donkey, and his life changes completely. Their friendship brings both of them happiness. This is a story about the importance of having reliable and faithful friends, and about how fortunate we are to have someone who understands us.

Über den Autor: Luba Brezhnev was born in the family of the late General Secretary of the USSR Leonid Brezhnev, who ruled the country for 18 years until his death in 1982, daughter of his younger brother, Jakov. Her parents separated when she was eight months old. She was an only child, raised by her mother and beloved step-father. She was close witness of the 'palace coup' against Nikita Khruschev in 1964. Observed the corruption of those the system favored. She "made a mistake falling in love with a German colonel" and was relentlessly punished for her love by psychological and minor physical harassment. Neither her uncle, nor her father could protect her against KGB. She married a talented scientist, a professor at University of Moscow, and raised two sons. She has a Master Degree in French and PhD in French literature from the University of Moscow. In 1990 she emigrated to the United States. She totally reinvented herself, and relied on no one. In 1995 her book The World I Left Behind was published by Random House and was on the New York Times best seller list. 2011 she decided to become a children author and wrote many short stories for kids. She resides in California to this day.
