Not an ex-library copy, there is webbing to be seen at meeting place of front loose end page and Main Title Page, at bottom portion of junction of back loose end and paste down pages, and very slightly at bottom portion between pages 80-81 of text. There is also a short gift message, signature (by the author of the book), and date, in ink, on upper portion of front loose end page, and some modest shelf wear at top and bottom edges of volume's spine. This book is, in actuality, a dictionary of notable/memorable quotations, from ABSENCE to ZEAL, borrowed from the likes of John Boyle O'Reilly, George Moore, Eva O'Dougherty, Edmund Burke, Oliver Goldsmith, Lady Wild(Speranza), and countless others.
