He was the recipient of the Junior Research Fellowship of University Grants Commission, India. Jitendra Kumar Gupta works as a librarian in the Govt. Rajmohini Devi Girls Post Graduate College, India. Prof. Aditya Tripathi is Professor & Head of the department of Library and Information Science at Banaras Hindu University. He was awarded Best Young Teacher by the Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres (IASLIC).
