Just over five years ago, Windsor Castle was devastated by an extraordinary fire. In the years since a series of choices have had to be made from dealing with the fire to the finances of restoring the Castle to the decisions on whether to restore or change. This enormous, exciting enterprise depended on people at every level from the members of the Royal Family to the men doing the building work, from the firemen to the craftsmen, from the architects to the archaeologists.
