Revolutionary Tales from Tricky Dick to Don the Con is a collection of short stories, told through the eyes of a diverse set of characters, illustrating the transformational change taking place in American society from the 1960s to the present time. The stories show how many of the characters undergo personal growth while tackling important societal issues. We see issues like the war in Vietnam, and how it changed our attitudes about war and military service. We experience the youth counterculture, including the recreational use of illegal drugs. We witness the changes in race relations, including racial stereotyping and profiling, but soon realize that more progress needs to be made.
Revolutionary Tales is an entertaining, but thought-provoking collection of stories that document the transformation of American society during the last fifty years.
