Etching on hand laid (verge) paper. Watermark: Coat of arms of Lier, to be dated c. 1700. on paper. Size in cm: The overall size is ca. 28.5 x 19.5 cm. The image size is ca. 20.6 x 12.6 cm. Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 11.2 x 7.7 inch. The image size is ca. 8.1 x 5 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Lepelenburg aen Utrecht. (original full title)' - Lepelenburg just outside the remparts of Utrecht. Plate 5 from a series. Later impression c. 1700.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Roelant Roghman' after own design. Roelant Roghman (1627-1692) made a very famous set of drawings of Castles in the Netherlands around 1647. He made several sets of etchings. He is said to have been a friend of Rembrandt.Condition: Very good, given age. Wide margins. Remains of paper from previous attachment on rear. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
