(cgc). Dr. Anderson, of the Victoria Memorial Museum at Ottawa, was chief of the Southern Party of the Canadian Artic Expedition of 1913-16. The expedition was organized by Vilhjalmur Stefansson, who, as commander of the Northern Party, was still in the Artic. Dr. Anderson had previously had extensive experience in Arctic exploration, having participated in Stefansson's expedition of 1908-12 in the same general region. Dr. Anderson's specialty was zoology.
