A memoir of the famed Irish orator (1750-1817) and political opponent of the Act of Union that was originally published in 1818. The author (1787-1859) was a friend and fellow Irish barrister. This is a Very Good copy of the Second Edition. Publisher's paper-covered boards, with a green cloth spine and a paper label that gives the original price (ten shillings and sixpence for Boards). Clean text; 403 pages that are mostly clear and bright, readable today; there is some tanning to pages, primarilly towards the rear. Rubbed and chipped at the margins, but generally a very solid copy; somewhat uncommon . Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 002381
