No Date/ Circa 1890 (per World Catalog) Red cloth boards with silver gilt and embossing of vine design to front. Lettering on spine reads: Lang's Fairy Book :Red. and is slightly blurred. Bumped at corners with fraying, edge wear and fading. Patina and dust soil to page edges. All pages intact in binding, cracked but no separations noted. Pages are unmarked but there are smudges to several that do not interfere with reading. Includes frontis of The Twelve Princess and 4 other plates, numerous other smaller illustrations.
