Dr. Elsayed is Editor of the IIE Transactions on Quality and Reliability Engineering, IIE Transactions on Operation Engineering, and The International Journal of Reliability, Quality and Safety Engineering. He is co-author of Analysis and Control of Production Systems (Prentice-Hall) and Quality Engineering in Production Systems (McGraw-Hill), which won the IIE Joint Publishers Book-of-the-Year Award. In addition, he has consulted for such companies as AT&T Bell Laboratories, Ingersoll-Rand, Johnson & Johnson, and Personal Products.
