Religious Tracts Dispersed by the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (Volume VII ONLY out of thirteen): On the Christian Religion, Doctrine, and Practice. Hardcover. Bound in original leather, with gilt and embossed lettering on the spine and lined, flat bands. This book is in "very good" condition, showing wear and erosion, particularly to the front cover where a patch of leather is missing, possibly due to worming. Hinge is starting on the back cover, and corners are worn and slightly bumped. Spin endcap is slightly torn, yet attached. Inner hinges show some cracking and exposed thread, yet remain firmly attached. Binding is tight. Pages have unevenly toned and show foxing throughout, yet are fully legible and intact. Pastdowns and endpapers show some discoloration. Label from spine is detached and laid in as a bookmark, which has offset on the page right about 1/4 through the book.
