Inhaltsangabe:

Traces the journey of a woman as she is initiated into an age-old spiritual tradition. A charismatic couple, Domano and Chea, explain their mission - to hand down the ancient wisdom of their people. She learns how to mediate and hear the Earth Song, and participates in rituals and spirit quests. The author reveals how she began to feel guilty at the increasing duality in her life. Eventually, Whitaker learns to integrate her "real" life with her new knowledge and finds balance and harmony, which she imparts as a shaman.
