Racing for glory or running from the law?

This mystery is set in the wild world of car enthusiasts and rally racing. Short of the funds to join the real event, three quirky couples have cooked up their own race, only to discover that someone is stealing their classic cars.

These racer-detectives struggle to follow a map and the list of suspects behind the crime is as varied as the cars in the tour. Can they follow the clues to the thief before another high-value vehicle disappears?

Along the scenic back roads of Coastal Georgia and the South Carolina Lowcountry, the live oaks and Spanish moss wave gently on the breeze. But are the dappled shade and quiet landscape ready for the ragtag collection of wannabe car race drivers, gearheads and grease monkeys taking a hairpin turn to glory?

In this breezy beach read, these not-ready-for-prime-time car jocks have concocted their own motorsports extravaganza. But as the revs build, valuable items begin to disappear. Do the fast fingers belong to the disgraced Formula 1 driver? The bleach blonde? Or maybe the meddling mother-in-law? When the checkered flag finally drops, is it grand prix or grand theft?
