From Award Winning Author Wendy Altshuler comes Book II in the Evergreen Series: When Christopher became lost in a wood one day, he would never have dreamed that he would meet a walking, talking awakened tree. Where did the tree come from? What was he doing wandering in the wood?

Christopher would come to learn the answers to these, and many more questions, when he ventures with the tree through a magical, secret portal. In fact, there are many interdimensional lands connected by the secret doors, and in Book II, Christopher and his friend Tom return to find out that some of the lands are strange—and not very friendly.
