Presumed first edition with no additional printings indicated; published 1945 with 1946 copyright (stated). 228pp. By-laws of the People's Organization to rear. VG/VG-. Book has light rubbing to overall clean, sharp cloth; touch of strong rubbing at extreme lower spine end; gilt bright and strong. Shelving soil and light foxing to page edges. Binding tight and strong. Moderate to fairly strong uniform toning to clean, unmarked pages. Jacket has internal tape-repairs and reinforcements along flap hinges (some over closed tears) and to short nicks and tears off edges. Chips to 3/8" depth at spine ends, not into titles. Small chips to tips of upper corners. Light sunning to spinewith no effect on titles; moderate soil and scuffing to panels, heavier on rear, with front colors and titles strong and clear against scuffed white background.(Please see/request seller's scan.)
