Phoenix Walker’s world came crashing down around her in a single evening, but much like her namesake a new one quickly arose from her tormented ashes. After being attacked by a creature she thought to be only of myth, Phoenix quickly began to learn about her mother’s well guarded legacy that had been kept a secret from her by her father. While embracing her legacy she quickly became one of the most powerful assets in her new world, all while falling in love with the resident bad boy, and learning to control her new power. With her uncontrollable new gifts and unbridled rage at the helm she leads a team into the depths of the city out of the prying eyes of the known world to end a war that had been secretly raging in their world for centuries.

Robin was born in early 1975 in Topeka, Kansas, where she still lives today going to school, raising three of her four children and working on her second book of this series The Betrayal. After losing her father suddenly in early 2006 at the young age of 55, Robin realized that life was too short to not do what you love and follow your dreams. That’s when the ideas for Dark Temptations and the unique characters of the Rise of the Phoenix series were born. Robin has been writing poetry and short stories since age twelve. Along with writing she also enjoys photography, hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with her family and animals. The day her first book goes to print will be the day her dreams of becoming a published writer will become a reality.
