This VG- book in very nice condition. The book has a very slight lean, is quite clean with a slightly soiled spine, is free of corner bumps and edge dings; it has no fading and a very lightly bumped head and heel of the spine, without fabric damage. The interior is in superb condition; it is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage. The paper is lightly toned but very flexible and the hinges are quite strong. The only internal flaw is a manufacturing one--both front and rear pastedowns have a 1" wide darkened strip all the length of the pastedown where the cheesecloth is covered by the paper(see photo). The VG- jacket is completely intact with only tiny chips at the head and heel of the spine and at the front corners and a mildly faded spine (see photos).
