The role played by products of the Rolls-Royce company in the Great War. First published by Rolls-Royce Limited in 1919 and reprinted in facsimile in 1972. Divided in sections, the first dealing with motor cars in general. Then follows armoured cars, aero engines in general and finally seaplanes, flying boats and airships. Each section has several monotone photographs of great historical significance. Red boards with gilt title on spine are marked and undamaged. The dustwrapper is price clipped and slightly faded with a small closed tear at the top of the spine. Otherwise in very good condition. Here is a bookseller's label on the front paste down.
