Texts in modern French, translated by André Lanly, with a preface by Georges Duby. A 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch piece of gold embossed leather has been laid in at page 66 has caused a slight acid stain. Else, the binding is tight, with sharp corners and edges, and bright stamping, with a clean, otherwise unmarked interior. Number 1964 in a limited edition.
