A scarce copy of this brightly illustrated collection of tales from Arthur Kelly. Scarce work. Illustrated with colour frontispiece and nineteen colour plates. Collated complete. A collection of short stories including: The Mirror, The Lawn Tennis Ball, The Little Animal, Soap Bubbles, and many others. Written by Arthur Kelly, a British writer. Illustrated by Walter Crane, an English artist and book illustrator considered one of the most influential and prolific children's book creators of his time. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd mark to the boards. Joints starting but firm. Front hinge tender but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound with one detached plate inserted correctly. Pages are very bright with light spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Good.
