Good: former library copy, but minimal markings (pastedown at front endpaper and stamp to foot of same, stamp to p.590); slight streaking to endpapers, touch of discoloration to the boards, small nick to the spine at the right edge across from "By", corners mildly chafed; front hinges partially sprung but holding solid for now with visibility between the endpaper and ensuing blank, rear hinge solid; text and illustrations clean and unspoiled with a touch of foxing to the title and frontispiece.
