Additionally, Jeanie's articles have appeared in publications such as Better Homes & Gardens, House Beautiful, Country Living, Cottage Life, and the New York Times Magazine.

David Stiles earned a bachelor degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute, and is a designer, builder, architectural renderer, and writer and illustrator. Together with wife Jeanie, collectively known as Americaís First Couple of Do-It-Yourself Building Projects. David has written 13 books on woodworking, which include Storey's Garden Retreats and the popular Rustic Retreats. Combined, these 13 books have sold nearly 300,000 copies.
