53 pp., black endpoapers; virtually pristine internally being clean, tight and quite unmarked; covers clean, bright and minimally worn but patchy pigment loss to spine, spine region and thin strips along most edges, a little more extensive to back, at first glance most of this looks liked sun-fading, Despite numerous reprints from 1867 onwards, with a 'New edition' in 1890, this is surprisingly scarce, and the 1894 edition 'with corrections' and its 1896 reprint seem even more so. This is the last edition I assume as Myers died in January 1901. Myers best known as co-founder of the Society for Psychical Research, author of 2-vol. 'Phantasms of the Living' and the posthumously compiled Human Personality and Its Survival of Bodily Death'. This religious poem was his first book.
