Boards and spine worn and stained, particularly around edges, spine slightly faded. Edges, endpapers and some pages foxed and stained. Plant pressed between pages 178 and 179. Pages 353-384 creased and/or torn on outside edge. Pages thumbed, lightly browned. Lengthy inscription on page after front free endpaper (takes up the whole page). Previous owner's bookplate on half-title page, split between following pages. Book is in fair condition. Dustrwrapper is stained and worn, particularly around edges, with multiple creases and tears. Small sections missing from both top corners and bottom right corner of spine.
