Undated, probably circa 1940s, this is a nice 82nd thousand printing of H.G. Wells classic The Shape of Things to Come, which had been filmed a few years earlier as Things to Come, this example retains its very attractive pictorial dust jacket picturing a futuristic city with a rocket and plane flying above The book measures just under 9 inches tall, 333 pages. The jacket has edge wear with some creasing and minor loss, there is a old booksellers stamp to the top of the jacket which is repeated on the front endpaper, small marks to top of contents page (pictured) else book and contents in nice general condition.
