The keepsake for the dinner celebrating the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Limited Editions Club, held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York on May 11, 1954. Contents include literary excerpts and quotes associated with the menu courses and wines, sections on awards given and their awardees, and an extensive list of attendees (including luminaries such as Robert Frost and Ernest Hemingway). With the original gray silver-flecked card envelope addressed to the recipient, in this case, Charles E. Dumont. Laid in are two tickets of admission, printed on plain yellow slips of paper. One of 750 copies printed on Abbey Mills paper. Scarce; the envelope and tickets are uncommon survivals. The book is fine and well-preserved; envelope has some wear, short closed tears at the flap and some age-toning at the edges; one ticket is fine, the other has a narrow band of browning at the edge.
