Red boards with gilt lettering on the spine and impression upon front cover. Covers are well thumbed and rubbed, with some small patches of white discolouration upon spine and boards. Previous owner's inscription on title page. Head and tail of spine bumped, corners smooth and bear some wear. Spine sunned. Free endpapers, pastedowns and title pages bear moderate discolouration and light foxing. Page edges well thumbed, discoloured and lighlty foxed. Tail edges deckled. Binding is tidy, yet split in a few places. Pages throughout may bear a light patch of foxing here and there.
