Very rare title, especially with d/j - second edition 1948; vg-plus clean crisp interior for the age with no marks or inscriptions just a light tone to closed edge of pages, excellent clean firm cloth boards; d/j has average shelfwear, small loss to lower spine tip, nicks to front corners and very slight edge-loss to top spine tip as shown, light foxing specks/tone to edge of inner flaps but good appearance overall for the age with no large tears/loss - covered with a new removable sleeve-protector and not price-clipped.
