This book is an abridgment of the Diary of Samuel Pepys. "Samuel Pepys' Diary" was edited and arranged by Willis L. Parker, and is illustrated in black-and-white by Randolph Adler, who supplied full page and vignette pictures to accompany the text. This is the perfect edition for those who don't wish, or don't have time, to tackle the entire diary, which is, indeed, long and extremely detailed. The Diary is arranged for ease of reading, flowing along like a good novel. Along the way one learns much about the London of the seventeenth century. **************************************** TITLE : Samuel Pepys' Diary / AUTHOR : Samuel Pepys (1633 - 1703) / EDITOR : Willis L.
