Hardcover black and tan pictorial imprinted with a view of two children reading books around a table, an adult is on the spine reaching into book stacks. This is black impressed on tan. The picture is set within an asymmetrical rectangle framed by a plant growing on the right side of the front cover. The binding has cracked at the end page and is beginning to separate (2") in the front, but the binding is otherwise tight, The name of a former owner is inscribed on top of the title page. It looks as though someone has tried to dry a flower in the very back pages causing a tear in that page. Shelf wear is moderate primarily on the bottom and corners.
