Housed in original black paper-covered box, heavily damaged and worn. No date but circa 1900-1910. Stereoviews have light wear and soiling. These stereoviews provide an inside look at the workings of Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Chicago, Illinois. Some fun images include watch making in the jewelry department, the clothing manufacturing plant, the card index department, the press room where the Sears catalogue was printed (with some rather young looking workers), the catalogue trimming machine, a view of closing hour with hundreds of employees heading home and an image of Richard W.
