Secrets and Spies. Dieser Artikel ist nicht verfügbar.Secrets and Spies

For the United States, World War One started in New York years before it started in Europe.

After the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915, New York society writer Louisa Delafield and her assistant Ellen Malloy join in the hunt for German saboteurs who are employing biological and chemical warfare on American soil.

Their hunt takes them through all levels of American society, where the enemy employs everything from propaganda to sabotage to cold-blooded murder to keep America from helping the allies.

To her surprise, Ellen discovers that some in her Irish homeland see Germany as a potential ally against their British oppressors, and Louisa has little appetite for sending American boys and men to fight overseas.

Can Louisa and Ellen overcome their own conflicting loyalties and stop them?
