Tall [Royal] octavo, measures 7.5" x 11", [two volumes]. Three-quarter red morocco, marbled paper-covered boards. Five raised bands, decorative gilt compartments, title in gilt on spines. All edges gilt with marbled endpapers. Solid text blocks, wear to covers, small points of peeling to leather corners. Front free endpaper previously torn out of Volume I. Faint soiling to leaves, a near fine set. Complete with 64 full-page plates. Plates created from original drawings by Hugh Williams. (Allibone 2739) (Lowndes 2932). Selected Views of Greece was originally issued in parts from 1827 to 1829.
