The second half of V5 covers the life of Voettii, by Johannem Beverovicium. On the second blank of V3, there is an inscription, apparently signed by the bookseller Octavian Pulleyn. The inscription reads as follows (with a couple words indecipherable) : "Bought this Voity (? ) pars tertia of Octavian Pulleyn at (? ) in St. Pauls churchyard: Octob. 10, 1660 & is by him warranted perfect(? ). Octavian Pulleyn". There are a couple previous owners names inked in the volumes. One is a J(? ) Gee, dated 1717. The other is Robert Wallis, and is undated (but probably later). Bound in well-worn leather. Both boards of V3 are detached, but present. The remains of a label on each spine. The front hinge of V2 is completely open. The first blanks of V2 are missing, and the first 16 pages are detached, but present. The title page of V2 has some loss in the center; but the title is unaffected. Bumping & some edgewear to the first and last few pages in each volume. Some insect damage to the index of V3; and the last blank is mostly missing. Brief title & volume number inked on the page fore-edges of each volume in the distant past. The label for a church library on the front inside cover of each volume. ; 26A; 8" x 6".
