Beschreibung
Staple bound in paper wraps, 23 pages with black and white photo illustrations. Clean, well bound and internally unmarked. Undated reprinting of an article which appeared in The Scientific Monthly, March 1937, Vol. XLIV, pages 215-238. Noted scholar of Iroquois culture William N. Fenton describes the practice of mask-making within the Seneca Nation. Paper wraps frayed, bumped and creased extensively along all edges, with three ½" tears to bottom edges on both sides. Author's name handwritten on front cover twice once in pen and once in pencil, on opposing long edges. Very mild vertical crease along entire length of book, not affecting page turnability, with attendant rubbing to wraps. Occasional pockmarks and spotting across covers, and toned lightly besides. Page interiors still very bright, with occasional faint stains not at all affecting readability of text. Very good page interiors in good wraps. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers ABE-1676065724784
