A very good minus, sturdy hard cover edition with minor shelf wear and rubbing, hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed BUT, with pencilled underling scattered throughout. Withiout dust jacket. This is one of the original, well bound, compact, 'World's Classics' series, perfect for the pocket, and though older than the average reader, will hold up to many more readings in the future. Pages crisp and clean except for a prior owner's name stamped at the top edge of the page block and some gentle age-toning throughout; binding square and tight, with bound-in ribbon marker somewhat frayed at the free end; cover shows rubbing at corners and spine ends and some dust spotting along foreedges and in gutters, otherwise sound. Dust jacket is mildly sunned at the spine and shows lines of surface wear at spine sides and foreedges, light surface rubbing masks and some small specks and surface chips at front, back, and spine, open chipping at the spine ends and corners, dust smudging visible in the light-colored portions, and a corner clip at the front interior flap, yet remains overall sound and is now protected in a clear sleeve. 416pp. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 062471
