Here at Shelf Indulgence Books (IOBA), we pride ourselves on our selection of First Edition, Modern and Postmodern literary fiction (prose & poetry; aesthetic & instrumental), with an inclination towards both prize winning/shortlisted works, and authors'. We also stock a wide range of mainstream fiction and non-fiction;academic history: books for children/young adults; biographies and/or memoirs. We also buy books; both single volumes and entire collections - depending on quantity, quality. We take great care in both sourcing books of Very Good/Fine/As New condition, and ensuring that they reach you in the same condition as described in order that they can take pride of place within your collection. We package your items (h/back and larger softcovers) in recycled bubble wrap, and in individually, custom made boxes. Great customer service is at the heart of our mission, and because we love books and literature, we source and treat our stock as though it was part of our own collection. Books shipped on receipt of payment. Most books are first editions, first impressions unless otherwise stated. All faults ( price clipped, inscriptions, remainder marks, blemishes, bumps, tanning, foxing, loose binding, ex-lib, book club, etc.) are always noted. For postage, books are wrapped in protective plastic, bubble wrapped (up-cycled) and custom-made boxes (up-cycled cardboard). Full refund given if book is not as described.

Orders usually ship within 2-4 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required (especially for international shipping).
Recent price increases to the USA (09/20) are very high, I can offer a range of shipping costs. Please enquire at point of order. If you don't wish to pay for tracked and signed, please enquire at point of order, and I can email the various choices. The level of protection/insurance is reduced with the cheaper postage, so please bear this in mind when opting for a cheaper service on more valuable items.

There has been a recent, large increase to shipping costs to the USA. Anything over 1kg, tracked and signed has almost doubled. I will probably ask for added costs above this weight, but I can offer cheaper alternatives. This may take up to 12 weeks to arrive if this option is required, and there is no tracking information. Please ask at time of of order (USA).
