<div>Much of the art of successful showing lies in presenting an attractive picture to the judge. Clothes, their quality and the way they are worn, play a vitally important part. John Minoprio's superb photographs will inspire all exhibitors, young or old, whether riding or leading in-hand, to achieve that essentially understated and professional elegance which will complement to perfection the quality of the horse or pony being exhibited. From leading-rein and first ridden pony classes through to the hunters, hacks and cobs, examples are shown of correct and stylish dress. Side-saddle classes are included as are well-turned out judges, and the rules of dress laid down by the various societies are given within each classification. With its emphasis on style and attractive, well-fitting clothes, John Minoprio's aspirational book will encourage anyone who ventures into the show ring to do their exhibit justice.</div>
