Very fine mid- 19th century engraved portrait. Mounted on a larger sheet of paper along the edges of the print (leaving the back of the print exposed, so not laid down) long ago by a skilled binder/ previous owner. Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Sheet measures c. 12 1/4" H x 9 1/2" W. Engraved area measures c. 9" H x 6 1/2" W.[R34471].
