xiv, 303 p. 20 cm. Frontispiece by George Cruickshank. Half leather with marbled boards. Raised bands and impressing on spine. Boards rubbed and corners worn. Small chip from spine label and a little wear at spine ends. Occasional spotting. The 56 sketches concerning London scenes and people are divided into four sections, only the last of which is fictional. They were originally published in various newspapers and other periodicals between 1833 and 1836.
